<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy absorption support device capable of duplicating a stable restoration force characteristic with a simple mechanism, and of increasing the number of members plastically deforming against seismic force in response to the intensity of the seismic force, and allowing the amount of cumulative plastic deformation of the members to be visually determined. <P>SOLUTION: This energy absorption support device includes: a support member extending along one direction; a slide member slidable with the support member along the support member; a first fixed member having a through-hole formed thereon, and fixed to or molded integrally with the support member; a second fixed member having a through-hole formed thereon, and fixed to or molded integrally with the slide member; a rod-like member inserted by penetrating the through-hole of the first fixed member and the through-hole of the second fixed member; and a first stopper member and a second stopper member fixed to the rod-like member to sandwich the first fixed member and the second fixed member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
