COOLING TYPE FUEL INJECTION VALVE STRUCTURE FOR GAS ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly cool a nozzle head by cooling water and make offset of injection position of pilot liquid fuel. SOLUTION: A cooling water channel 54 connected to a second cooling water supply passage 50 and a second cooling water recovery passage 51 and surrounding a part close to a valve seat of a needle valve 32 is provided at a tip part of the nozzle chip 31. The needle valve 32 and the valve seat thereof is directly cooled by cooling water in such a manner to protect a fuel injection valve 24 from thermal influence. A glow plug 33 is attached with inserted through an injection body 30 and the nozzle chip 31. Consequently, it is not necessary to offset an injection position of liquid fuel from a center of an auxiliary chamber. As a result, injection position of liquid fuel does not influence injection-combustion performance and expected engine performance can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
