PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided an electric blower having improved suction force by improving tightness of a section where an impeller and a tight cap contact to each other. SOLUTION: This blower is provided with an impeller 11 fixed on a shaft 3 of an armature, including a suction port 11a at a center and including a blow out port 11b for air blow out on an outer circumference, an air guide 10 provided on an outer circumference of the impeller 11 and straightening air blown out of the blow out port 11b, and the tight cap 16 including a distal end contact part 16a for contacting a suction port distal end part 11c of the impeller 11, and a casing 12 covering an outside of the impeller 11 and the air guide 10 together with the tight cap 16 formed as one unit. A cutting part 18 is constructed at a suction port distal end part 11c of the impeller 11 contacting a distal end contact part 16a of the tight cap 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
