PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air suction device capable of effectively preventing deformation of a housing with a valve unit for an air suction pipe fit into an intake manifold. SOLUTION: In the valve unit 1 fit into an air suction passage 21 in the intake manifold 2, a slit 55 is formed in an intermediate portion of a side part 52 of a gasket 5 abutting on a readily deformable intermediate portion of the housing 3 to make the side part more liable to deform than a corner part 51 and caulking force exerted onto intermediate parts of wall plates 32, 33 of the housing 3 in a central direction is made smaller than the caulking force exerted onto the corner part 51, thereby preventing swelling and deforming of the wall plates 32, 33 of the housing 3 toward inner sides of the intermediate parts.
