REMOTE MONITOR DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitor device for an elevator capable of solving the receiving reception waiting state of emission at a monitoring center by conjestion of a telephone line without using a monitoring center separate from a usual monitoring center even in a wide area earthquake. SOLUTION: The remote monitor device for the elevator is provided with an earthquake control completion state detection means 8 for detecting that earthquake control operation of the elevator is normally completed by a signal from an elevator control device 2 for performing the earthquake control operation upon action of an earthquake detector 1 acted when the magnitude of the earthquake becomes a predetermined value or more; and a direct conversation emission forbidding means 9 for forbidding direct conversation emission to the monitoring center 13 by the detection signal from the earthquake control completion state detection means 8. The remote monitor device is provided with a direct conversation emission impossibility notice means 10 for broadcasting that the direct conversation emission to the monitoring center 13 is impossible by an in-car interphone 3; and a direct conversation emission forbidding release means 11 for forcedly releasing the forbidding state of the direct conversation emission to the monitoring center 13.
