摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet mirror coating deice, in which the shear between a printing paper and a film overlapped to the printing paper is prevented from accumulating, and to provide its controlling method. SOLUTION: This controlling method is to control the ultraviolet mirror coating device, which performs lustering by curing an ultraviolet curing resin paint coating the printing paper on irradiation with ultraviolet rays through a film 1 being carried together under the condition of an overlap with the endless film 1. The length of the endless film 1 is set to be the integer multiples of the carrying pitch of the printing papers carried each other back and forth and a mark 18 is put at a plate thereon. At the same time, the endless film is driven by driving rollers 17 each having a servo-motor as a power source. The speeds of the servo-motors are reduced or increased every rotation or every plurality of rotations of the endless film 1 so as to reconcile the passage of the detecting position of the mark 18 with the passage of the fixed positional point predetermined on the printing paper, resulting in preventing the shear of the film 1 due to the error of the peripheral length of the film 1 from accumulating.
