PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring sheet thickness which can reduce measurement area, and whose cost can be reduced and measuring range is not narrow. SOLUTION: A sheet's physical quantity measuring device which detects the amount of radiation transmitted through a sheet-like object 3, out of radiation 2 emitted from a radiation source 1 with a radiation detector 14, and measures a physical quantity of the sheet-like object 3 based on the transmission amount, is equipped with radiation array detectors 61, 62 for detecting the scope of irradiation of the radiation 2, and a correction means 10 for correcting errors in the outputs of the array detectors 61, 62 produced due to alignment deviation between the radiation detector 14 and the radiation source 1, based on the signals output from the array detectors 61, 62.
