The subject of the invention is a machine for knitting a textile by implementing at least one needle bed (3,4) to which are movably fitted needles (6,7) with crochets (12,12') and latches (13,13'). The needles (6,7) have needle lengths (D1.D11) which are different so that the latches (13,13') pivot asynchronously, with respect to the lowered position for each needle (6,7) and with respect to the similar lowering trajectories travelled by the needles (6,7) in a given time between two individual positions on the needle bed (3, 4) bearing them. As the machine is of the double needle bed type, the needles (6,7) with different needle lengths are corresponding needles (6,7) supported by their respective needle bed (3,4). |
