The bushing has a housing (18) interspersing an opening in a partition wall (12). A seal (24) is arranged between the housing and an inner edge of the opening. The opening is limited partially by a cover (10) and a connector strip (14), which are movable relative to the partition wall. The seal has a sealing material (32) in a part of the opening, where the sealing material swells during a thermal effect. The seal forms a mazelike profile, and the sealing material contains expanding graphite.
