摘要

A liquid crystal display device is provided to improve display quality by expressing low gradation region using high gradation region, thereby solving the problems on gray inversion and gradation. A liquid crystal display is equipped with a first, a second display substrate, and a liquid crystal layer and liquid crystal panel assembly. A first display panel is facing a second display panel. A liquid crystal layer is located between the first and the second display panel. The liquid crystal display comprises the pixel of the respective plurality included the first and the second sub-pixel. The area of the first sub-pixel is at least, the five-fold or greater in comparison with the area of the second sub-pixel. In the state where there the electric field is no liquid crystal molecule of the liquid crystal layer, it is aligned so that the longitudinal axis be comprised horizontal about the surface of the first and the second display panel.
