<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus enabling a user to efficiently confirm image-forming by a manual sample paper ejection function. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an image forming part which forms an image on paper, a stacking part on which the image formed paper is stacked, a paper ejection part to which the image formed paper is ejected in such a state that it can be visually confirmed, and a changeover part which changes over a paper feeding destination to the stacking part or the paper ejection part. The image forming apparatus includes a first operation part for inputting a command for sample paper ejection, and a control part capable of performing manual sample paper ejection processing for ejecting the image formed paper for a sample to the paper ejection part when the first operation part is operated in the midst of image forming processing based on an image forming job.
