摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce engine noise by decreasing the idling rotating speed while avoiding the condition where in a sudden start, rising of oil pressure is delayed due to decrease in delivery quantity of a mechanical oil pump caused by a decrease in the idling rotating speed so that a hydraulic power transmission slips or blow-up of a running electric motor occurs. <P>SOLUTION: When return from the idling state is determined based on the P&rarr;D shift operation, the torque TMG 2 of a second motor generator MG 2 is temporarily limited in a step S5, so that even if rising of oil pressure is delayed in a sudden start from the idling state, a second brake B2 engaged when starting a vehicle can be prevented from slipping and blow-up of a second motor generator MG2 can be prevented. Thus, while avoiding slipping of the second brake B2 due to response delay of oil pressure and blow-up of the second motor generator MG2, the idling rotating speed NEidl is decreased to reduce engine noise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
