<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imposition device capable of lightening the load of generation and management of page data and shortening processing times of an imposition stage and a lithographic plate stage. <P>SOLUTION: The imposition device 1 sets a common page position 45 and a replacing page position 46 to the same page position 44 and generates an imposition template 19. The imposition device 1 allocates a common page to respective pages based upon the imposition template 19, and also allocates replacing pages which are different by the pages over the common page based upon the imposition template 19. For a common pattern, page data of the one common page are prepared, and for replacing patterns which are different by the pages, page data of a replacing page with small capacity are only prepared, so the load of management of the page data, and the processing load and processing time of the imposition stage and lithographic plate state can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
