<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel treatment method for facilitating separation of a fixed object on the surface of a glass substrate in the liquid crystal panel and improving recyclability of glass used for the liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel treatment method includes: a glass substrate separation process of separating two stuck glass substrates; a laser beam irradiation process of irradiating the glass substrate to which a metal electrode and an insulating material are fixed with a laser beam, heating a fixed interface where the metal electrode id fixed to the glass substrate, melting glass near the fixed interface, then re-solidifying the melted glass to generate a crack on the surface of the glass substrate; a glass substrate crushing process of crushing the glass substrate; and a crushed object sorting process of sorting the crushed object of the glass substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
