PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily judge whether or not a stimulation part and a stimulation frequency are appropriate. SOLUTION: After performing first scan S1 for gathering magnetic resonance signals from the head of a subject SU as first scan data, a positioning image SI is generated for the head of the subject SU on the basis of the first scan data. Thereafter, the positioning image SI is displayed on a display screen and the region of interest is set. Then, after imparting magnetic stimulation to the head of the subject SU, second scan S2 is performed so as to gather the magnetic resonance signals from a region corresponding to the region of interest set in the subject SU as second scan data by a BOLD method. Then, a signal strength image SK indicating the signal strength of the second scan data is generated on the basis of the gathered second scan data, and the generated signal strength image SK is displayed on the display screen.
