PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device wherein turning up or wear of both end parts of a cleaning blade is suppressed from an early stage. SOLUTION: The cleaning device 6 has a fur brush 63 placed upstream of a cleaning blade 62 in a rotation direction of a photoreceptor drum 2. Brush fibers of the fur brush 63 are implanted like loops. End part regions 63S and 63S mutually different by implantation directions exist in both end parts of the fur brush 63. Concretely, an implantation direction in each end part region 63S is inclined to a downstream side with respect to the rotation direction of the fur brush 63, and directions to adjacent end parts are different, so that implantation directions in respective end part regions 63S and 63S are different.
