PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of effectively preventing use of a fraudulent tool such as a mode checker. SOLUTION: The slot machine has a disconnection monitoring IC 50 for monitoring the electric connection state between a game control board 40 and a dropped token sensor 31 during the power failure and for storing a disconnection flag if the connection state is released. A CPU 41a confirms whether the disconnection flag is stored or not in the disconnection monitoring IC 50 when activated, and initializes data in a RAM 41c if the disconnection flag is stored.
