A digital door lock on/off control system is provided to remove inconvenience of touching a keypad one by one since using the visible light through wireless transmission. In a digital door lock on/off control system, a first modulator(106) modulates the password signal coming out of the password storage, and a first lighting-emitting area(108) generates the visible light signal based on the password signal modulated in the first modulator, a first photo receiver(110) receives the visible light signal from the digital door lock, and a first data processing unit(112) processes the visible light signal received in the first photo receiver. A display unit(114) displays the information processed by the first data processing unit. A second photo receiver(202) receives the visible light signal including the modulated password from the digital door lock control terminal(100), and a second data processing unit(204) determines whether the received data form the second optical receiver is identical with the set password or not. An opening and closing controller(206) controls the digital door lock base on the result of the second data processing unit.
