A square member manufacturing method of the log is provided, which can minimize twist in use by connecting each cut log piece with each other. A square member manufacturing method of the log comprises: a cutting line formation step(S100) forming a cutting line on one end of the log; a log cutting step(S110) cutting the log in the longitudinal direction according to the cutting line of the log; a log drying step(S120) keeping the cut log pieces at an interval and drying them; and a square member formation step(S130) forming the square member.
