PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device for selecting and calling a terminal having capability desired by an opposite party. SOLUTION: A terminal calling section 13 judges the capability to be owned by a terminal to be called on the basis of information in its calling signal, and searches the terminal information related to the read user ID and including terminal capability information indicating its capability from a calling destination information storage section 11 (step S13).
