PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a user whose both hands are occupied or even a physically handicapped person to easily utilize an electronic chime with a voice recognition function. SOLUTION: The electronic chime with a voice recognition function comprises a transmitter 11 for transmitting information and a master unit 12 for receiving information from the transmitter 11. The master unit 12 includes a communication module 12E for receiving information from the transmitter 11, a melody module 12F which sounds chime tones for a notification to persons around a user, and a liquid crystal display module 12C for displaying transmitted information. The transmitter 11 is equipped with a voice module 11E including the voice recognition function, a storage device 11C for storing a keyword by utilizing the voice recognition function, and a communication module 11D which presents a function of transmission to the master unit 12 in response to voice input of the keyword.
