PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker allowing a trip state to be determined from the state of an operation handle, and allowing condition display to be easily seen with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This circuit breaker has a link mechanism equipped with: a link member 14 having one end connected to an operation handle 1, and moved by a rotary operation of the operation handle 1; an engagement piece 18 having one end engaged with a base part of a moving contact segment 8 having a moving contact at a tip, and the other end rotatably connected to the other end of the link member 14; and a guide member 20 journaled to a journaling part 15 of the operation handle 1, and guiding the movement of a connection part 19 between the link member 14 and the engagement piece 18. A plunger 26 is arranged to be nearly orthogonal to the moving contact segment 8, a tip thereof is directly locked to the moving contact segment 8, and the operation handle 1 is rotated through the link mechanism by an opening operation of the moving contact segment 8 by a pulling operation of the plunger 26, and displaced at a specific angle between an on-state and an off-state.
