PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measuring device capable of accurately and continuously measuring the temperature of molten metal with high responsiveness at low cost. SOLUTION: The temperature measuring device includes a cylindrical protective tube 11 formed of ceramics as a base material and having a hollow part 14 closed at the tip part, and a temperature measuring sensor 20 arranged in the hollow part 14 of the protective tube 11. The temperature measuring device 10 can be embedded in a fireproof member 4 laminated inside refractory brick 3 constituting a fusing container for storing molten metal.
