PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent brake operation feeling when changing a control mode. SOLUTION: The brake control device 20 comprises a simulator cut valve 68 provided on the way of a flow path connecting a master cylinder 32 and a stroke simulator 69 to each other, and a brake ECU 70 for selecting one of a plurality of preset control modes and for controlling the simulator cut valve 68 based on the selected control mode. In the case of changing control mode during the operation of a brake pedal 24, if the control mode before changing control mode is the control mode for closing the simulator cut valve 68, the brake ECU 70 continuously closes the simulator cut valve 68 in the control mode after changing control mode.
