PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic fender beam mooring method capable of suppressing the rolling of a hull and preventing in advance damages caused by interference and contact of ship sides with each other by mooring a fender beam body from the longitudinal direction to the vertical direction at an optimum position when performing the contact mooring of the hulls. SOLUTION: Reference numerals 1a, 1b, 2, 3 and Wz denote a mother ship (hull) for drilling crude oil or the like staying on the sea W, a shuttle ship for conveying the crude oil or the like, a pneumatic fender beam, a pneumatic fender beam body and the draft line, respectively. When the shuttle ship 1b is contact-moored to the ship side of the mother ship 1a via the pneumatic fender beam 2, the a pneumatic fender beam body 3 moored in the longitudinal direction of the mother ship 1a in advance is set for mooring to the vertical direction via a posture changing means 4.
