The method involves controlling a hollow shaft pin-tool holder. An inner radius and an inner diameter of an inner wall of a cone drilling are determined simultaneously at two measuring points that are arranged in a predetermined axial distance from each other. An angle of inclination is computed from the inner radius, the inner diameter, and the predetermined axial distance of the measuring points. The inner wall is mechanically scanned by measuring sensors (10, 12). An independent claim is also included for a hand measuring device for determining an angle of inclination of an inner wall of a cone drilling with respect to a middle axis of a cone drilling.
