FRONT BODY STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front body structure of an automobile capable of ensuring the pedestrian protective performance and preventing breakage of a shroud in a slight collision while preventing the influence on the minimum ground clearance.

SOLUTION: The front body structure has a resin-made plate member 16 in which a rear end thereof is mounted on a front part 14a of a shroud lower 14L and a front end extends to the position adjacent to a back side of a bumper face 17. A weakened portion 21 which is arrayed in the vehicle width direction and designed for the load in the longitudinal direction is formed in an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of the plate member 16.
