<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low-calorie, non-calorie and sugar-free/non-calorie readily-soluble sweetening granule excellent in solubility. <P>SOLUTION: The readily-soluble sweetening granule is made up by granulating sugar alcohol of either erythritol or xylitol by using water-soluble polysaccharide as a bonding agent. The water-soluble polysaccharide is chosen from a group consisting of polydextrose, hardly digestible dextrin, pectin (apple), locust bean gum and water-soluble corn fiber. Furthermore, an extrusion granulation method or a flow granulation method is used for the granulating operation. In the case of the extrusion granulation method, the range of opening of a basket is set from 0.5 to 1.5 mm. Furthermore, an addition amount of water is 1.5-7.0 wt.% in the extrusion granulation. Especially, the water-soluble polysaccharide of less than 5 wt.% being the polydextrose or the hardly digestible dextrin is used as the bonding agent for the erythritol, thereby making up the sugar-free/non-calorie readily-soluble sweetening granule. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
