<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element that a control of coloring in mass production can be exactly carried out and can inhibit a variation of coloring even if an output, temperature etc. varies. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting element includes at least a first n-type semiconductor layer 103, an active layer 104, a p-type semiconductor layer 106, and a second n-type semiconductor layer 109 in order on a single crystal substrate 101. A first donner impurity and first acceptor impurity are added to the single crystal substrate 101, and the substrate 101 includes a first fluorescent area which produces fluorescence when being excited by light emitted from the active layer 104. A second donner impurity and second acceptor impurity are added to the second n-type semiconductor layer 109, and the semiconductor layer 109 includes a second fluorescent area which produces fluorescence when being excited by light emitted from the active layer 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
