<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antithrombotic antibacterial material that is more excellent in antithrombotic properties and, in its turn, in biocompatibility than conventional medical materials, can act as a highly hydrophilic surface-treating agent and is made antibacterial by the incorporation of an antibacterial substance. <P>SOLUTION: The antithrombotic antibacterial composition comprises a water-insoluble (meth)acrylate copolymer comprised of an alkyl (meth)acrylate and methoxypolyethylene glycol (meth)acrylate and at least one antibacterial substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
