摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet in which sticking hardly occurs and which has less unevenness in printing density and an image formation method using a heat transfer method. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer sheet used for the image forming method using the thermal transfer method, at least three types of thermal transferable dyes are sequentially transferred to the dye receiving layer by superimposing the thermal transfer sheet having at least one yellow thermal transfer layer, a magenta thermal transfer layer and a cyan thermal transfer layer and a thermal transfer image receiving sheet having at least one dye receiving layer on a support body. In this case, the static frictional coefficient (&mu;1) between first color thermal transfer layer and the thermal transfer image receiving sheet is in a range of 0.4 to 1.0, the static frictional coefficient (&mu;2) between second color thermal transfer layer and first color solid printing thermal transfer image receiving sheet is in a range of 0.2 to 0.8, and the static frictional coefficient (&mu;3) between third color thermal transfer layer and first color, second color solid printing thermal transfer image receiving sheets is in a range of 0.1 to 0.6, and a formula (1): &mu;1>&mu;2>&mu;3 is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
