PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chewing gum and a confectionery composition which remove stains and effectively contain a stain-removing substance in the inside to use a sufficient amount for stain-removing effects.

SOLUTION: The stain-removing chewing gum composition or stain-removing confectionery composition contains at least a stain-removing substance, which is selected from a group of anion surfactants and non-ion surfactants and is encapsulated in a soluble polymer, at an amount effective to remove the stains. The encapsulated stain-removing substance exists in a manner to release the amount effective to remove the stain from the composition.
