<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly irradiate a filter base material with light without restricting air flow. <P>SOLUTION: The gas filter 10 has first and second filter base materials 21, 22. A second light source unit 32 is provided between the first and second filter base materials 21, 22. The second light source 32 has first and second central point light sources 51A, 51B respectively two dimensionally disposed on a same plane. An outgoing end of the first central point light source 51A is directed toward the first filter base material 21, while that of the second central point light source 51B is directed toward the second filter base materials 22.
