<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a hard coat having active energy line curability and excellent in near-infrared absorption capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition for a hard coat has transparency and active energy line curability and contains a near-infrared absorbent. This near-infrared absorbent comprises one or more compounds (I) having a maximum absorption wavelength of 800-920 nm, which are phthalocyanine compounds or naphthalocyanine compounds, and one or more compounds (II) having a maximum absorption wavelength of >920 nm, which are phthalocyanine compounds or naphthalocyanine compounds. The compounds (I) preferably contain a compound (Ia) having a maximum absorption wavelength of 800 to <850 nm and a compound (Ib) having a maximum absorption wavelength of 850-920 nm.
