PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and easily perform adjustment for projecting an image in front of the eyes of a user. SOLUTION: The body mounted type display comprises: an image display part provided with an optical system for projecting the image in front of at least one eye of the user; a mounting part to be mounted on the body of the user; and a support part whose one end part is connected to the mounting part through a first joint part and other end part is connected to the image display part through a second joint part. The first joint part is provided with a first rotary shaft capable of rotating the support part relative to the mounting part in order to move the image display part to the upper and lower parts of the projected image. The second joint part is provided with a second rotary shaft capable of rotating the image display part relative to the support part in order to move the position of the emission pupil of the optical system to the upper and lower parts of the projected image.
