PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive paste that suits the formation of an external electrode electrically connected to an internal electrode containing nickel as a main component in a laminated ceramic electronic component. SOLUTION: The conductive paste contains a metal component and an organic component, and the metal component contains a silver-based powder with silver as a main conductive component, a boron powder, and a germanium powder or a resinated metal of germanium. In the conductive paste, bonding property between internal electrodes 4, 5 containing nickel and the external electrodes 8, 9 containing silver is excellent, because the oxidation of nickel is suppressed and germanium is liable to diffuse into both nickel and silver with an action of boron, when the paste is used to form the external electrodes 8, 9 of a laminated ceramic capacitor 1 having the internal electrodes 4, 5 containing nickel as a main component.
