PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which uniformly restricts a copy of each document if an original document embedded with copy restriction information and another original document not embedded with copy restriction information are mixed and copied together. SOLUTION: If copy restriction information is extracted from a read document (step S202), the extracted copy restriction information is stored into an embed information storage part 111 (step S205). If copy restriction information is not extracted from the read document, dot pattern data is generated corresponding to copy restriction information stored in the embed information storage part 111 (step S209), and the dot pattern data and image data outputted from a scanner 170 are synthesized (step S210).
