PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera platform device which restrains the blur of an image captured in an image pickup device. SOLUTION: An image pickup device 1 which has an oscillation-proof function which reduces the blur of a captured image, is mounted on the camera platform-rotating part 2 of the camera platform device. In this case, the camera platform device is provided with a CPU 101 which determines on or off of the oscillation-proof function on the basis of the driving patterns (the intermittent driving pattern 401 and the constant speed pattern 402) of the camera platform-rotating part 2.
