PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a battery cover or a memory card cover from being opened. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an imaging apparatus in which a memory card housing opening through which a memory card is loaded and unloaded, and a memory card cover for opening/closing the memory card housing opening are provided on the outer surface of a case, wherein in the vicinity of an opening/closing end of the memory card cover, a memory card lock projection is provided which is locked on a side face of the case and on the outer surface of the case, a memory card cover lock recess is provided which is locked with the memory card cover lock projection, the memory card lock projection being configured to regulate opening by protruding approximately perpendicularly to an opening/closing direction of the memory card cover.
