PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and easily installing a heat shielding panel to a connection part of an exhaust passage, in a heat shielding device protecting peripheral parts from heat of the exhaust passage of an engine mounted on a vehicle. SOLUTION: The heat shielding panel 21 is molded integrally with a gasket 20 disposed to the connection part 15 of the exhaust passage 11. The heat shielding panel 21 has an extension part 23 exposed to the outside from an upper end of the connection part 15 of the exhaust passage 11, and a cover part 24 formed to cover the exhaust passage 11 with an end side of the extension part 23.
