PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular impact force mitigating device capable of reliably mitigating the displacement of a dash panel inward of a vehicle caused by the movement of a master cylinder backward of the vehicle when the vehicle is collided. SOLUTION: A master cylinder side projecting member 7 which is projected at least in one direction of the vehicle width direction and the vertical direction is provided on a front part of a cylindrical master cylinder 5 with one side thereof being fitted to a dash panel 3 and the other side thereof being projected forward of a vehicle. An engine side projecting member 8 projected backward of a rear face 6A of an engine 6 is provided on a rear part of the engine 6 mounted forward of the vehicle of the master cylinder 5. When the engine 6 is moved backwardly when the vehicle is collided, the engine side projecting member 8 is collided with the master cylinder side projecting member 7 to bend the master cylinder 5.
