PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body having transparent properties which keeps a content directly visible and delamination suppressivle with gas barrier properties undeteriorated even such severe sterilizing conditions as boiling sterilization, retort sterilization and autoclave sterilization. SOLUTION: A transparent film with gas barrier properties having a thermoplastic polymer film, a primer layer overlying at least one face of the thermoplastic polymer film, and an inorganic thin film layer overlying the primer layer, is characterized in that the primer layer comprises an aromatic hydrocarbon component, an N-containing component, a methacrylate component, and a silane compound component.
