PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of certainly locking a storage type hook member. SOLUTION: This portable type power tool is furnished with the hook member having a hook part, a guide member supporting the hook member free to move between a storing position where it is stored in a housing of the power tool and a projecting position where it projects from the housing and a lock operating member provided free to move between a first position and a second position. Movement of the hook member is prohibited when the lock operating member is at the first position and movement of the hook member is allowed when the lock operating member is at the second position.
