PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a screw fixing tool capable of preventing the threading from being overlooked by performing a series of manufacturing processes including the forming of a screw groove and a screw part for calking all by the pressing treatment, reliably performing the threading, and ensuring the sufficient calking strength. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the cylindrical screw fixing tool 1 having a flange part 13 on one end and a screw groove 20 on another end by performing a plurality of press forming of a strip-like plate 30 in the vertical direction by an upper die and a lower die in an assembly line, a screw groove working step of forming one turn of the screw groove 20 having a step absorbing hole 21 and a cam mechanism of performing the opposing action by converting the vertical motion of a plate of the corresponding upper die in the horizontal motion with respect to a plate of the predetermined lower die are assembled, and the cylindrical body is press-formed in the opposing horizontal direction to perform the groove part working of forming a groove part 14 in a side surface of a base portion of the cylindrical body by the press-forming.
