SPRINKLING NOZZLE AND SPRINKLING SYSTEM USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkling nozzle capable of sprinkling evenly on the road surface while controlling splashing of sprinkled water, and to provide a sprinkling system using the nozzle. SOLUTION: The sprinkling nozzle 4a consists of an orifice portion 20 and a nozzle body portion 21. The nozzle body portion 21 has a nozzle passage 22 extending in the longitudinal direction from one end of the nozzle body portion 21, a discharge chamber 26 communicating with the nozzle passage 22 and an oblong nozzle opening 23 having the discharge chamber 26 in the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle body portion 21. The nozzle passage 22 has an inside diameter d1larger than the inside diameter d0of the orifice passage 20a. The nozzle opening 23 has an oblong and nearly rectangular shape, and the width of the opening increases from the central part 23a toward both ends 23b and 23b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
