PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the safety of a toilet seat device by detecting the dielectric breakdown of an insulating layer wrapping a heat generating part and interrupting energizing. SOLUTION: The toilet seat device includes: a toilet seat 400 including a metal material 413; the heat generating part 460; a first insulating layer 495a provided so as to cover the outer peripheral part of the heat generating part 460; a second insulating layer 414 provided between the toilet seat 400 and the first insulating layer 495a; and a toilet seat interrupting circuit 402 for detecting a current flowing to a dielectric breakdown detection electrode provided on the side of the first insulating layer 495a of the second insulating layer 414 and interrupting energizing to the heat generating part 460. Thus, when the insulation of the first insulating layer is destroyed, the toilet seat interrupting circuit 402 safely stops the toilet seat device by interrupting the current to the heat generating part 460.
