CUSHION MEMBER FOR NASAL MASK AND NASAL MASK USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygiene nasal mask which shows excellent wearing stability when worn by a Japanese, develops little air leakage, and is easy to wash and dry. SOLUTION: The nasal mask covers at least the nose of a user 1 for supplying respiration gas. The nasal mask comprises a cushion member 10 formed as a whole in a polygonal ring so as to encircle the surroundings of the nose of the user 1 and a mask shell 11 which has an inlet 14 for introducing the respiration gas and is fitted with the cushion member 10. The cushion member 10 contains a thin film section 25 that contacts the surroundings of the nose of the user 1 and a supporting section 26 that supports the thin film section 25. The thin film section 25 is formed in a wavy structure in the circumference so that the surface of the thin film section contacting the surface of the face forms concavities and convexities corresponding to the shape of the face.
