The invention relates to a fibre applicator head for producing parts made from composite materials, intended to be mounted to the end of a movement system in order to apply a wide strip formed by multiple fibres to a surface. The head includes an applicator roller (R), guiding means (3) for guiding the fibres on the roller, cutting means comprising blades (41) actuated by actuation systems in order to cut the fibres upstream of the applicator roller (R), and blocking means comprising blocking pins (43) actuated by actuation systems in order to block the fibres that have just been cut. The pins (43) and the blades (41) are actuated by common actuation systems (42) which, for each fibre to be cut and blocked, move a blade and a pin in order to cut and block the fibre.
