<p>The present invention relates to a lock (1) with a latch bolt (9), which protrudes from the lock housing (2). A pull rod (8) of the latch bolt (9), which is slidably guided in the housing (2), can be pulled back through the action of an arm (20) of a spring-mounted pusher nut (21). A pusher nut (21) extension engages with a projection of said pull rod (8). The latch bolt (9) pull rod (8) comprises a driving projection (19) being fixedly coupled therewith and engaging with the pusher nut (21) arm (20). The driving projection (19) has a skew extending sliding surface (23) for engagement with a projection (20') of the arm (20). The pusher nut (21) arm (20) is held by a spring (35) in position extending parallel to the direction of the pull rod (8) displacement. The force of the spring (35) acting on the pusher nut (21) is adjustable by adjusting engagement point (P) of the spring (35) arranged fixedly on the lock housing (2).</p> |
