The pusher unit (3) is provided with a pusher plate (34) for sucking and holding the carrier tape (5), and an illuminating apparatus (91) is embedded in the pusher plate (34) at a position that corresponds to the alignment mark of the carrier tape (5) held by the pusher plate (34). With the TCP handler (2), image recognition rate of the carrier tape (5) by the second camera (6b) is improved.</p>
